Reverend Steven Hawthorne was born in Mt. Olive, Mississippi, on December 2,1968. He graduated in 1986 and enlisted into the US Army. After being discharged from the US Army, he attended and graduated from Pearl River Community College in 1992 with an A.A. degree. He then attended and graduated from William Carey University in 1994 with a B.S. degree. He later enrolled in and graduated from Christian Leadership University in 2007 with a master’s in Christian counselor. Rev. Hawthorne was licenced to preach in 2005 and was ordained and selected to become the pastor of Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Eastabuchie, Mississippi, in 2006. It was then that God revealed to Rev. Hawthorne that everyone who is in the pulpit is not there from a heavenly call, but a hustle. This book is a warning for those who do not have a heavenly call to repent.
