"My name is Dianne M. Johnson and I graduated from the University of New Orleans at the age of 50 in Medical coding in 2004. I am writing in hopes of inspiring someone who may be going through difficult times. I am now 55 years old and life, at times, was not easy for me.

I started writing this as a diary, but as I wrote, so much came to mind that I decided maybe someone could learn from this. In this book, you will see how I fell, got back up and fell again.

If you live long enough, you will have trials and tribulations, but God has a plan for you and you only. When we battle these storms, it is only to test our faith because if you have no test than you have no testimony. You will read about all of the obstacles in my life. If it didn't break me, it only made me stronger. Throughout these challenges, I have learned that God is in the healing business.

My mom died at age 44, leaving 7 kids and a husband, but this was just one of many struggles in my life. I had many illnesses and failed marriages. Feeling alone, I had no one to call on but God. My last struggle before completing this book was the diagnosis of breast cancer. I was devastated and sick to my stomach. I was diagnosed in March of 2009. Since then, I received 6 months of chemotherapy, 6½ weeks of radiation and 1 year of herceptin. Going through chemo was a difficult task, but do not let the devil tell you that you can't, because you can. Get on your knees and pray. He will hear you! I have no doubt in my mind that God blessed me through this illness and is still blessing me today. I am now one year cancer free and preparing for reconstructive surgery. Hold on, you are in for a ride but God is the driver!
