Racism: the Goliath Within the Present Day Church is an example of a people, just like the armies of Israel, with a power to defeat their enemy. But they refuse to acknowledge God and His desires they are allowing fear to hinder them from challenging racism. Because the Church played a role in creating this problem of racial segregation it is only proper that the Church be involved in the solution.

However, there is a difference with this enemy called racism within the Church and society. In the Church he is not loud he, does not stand on a mountain and proclaim his power for all to see, he is subtle. Racism quietly invades the Body of Christ often masquerading as something honorable. If he appeared as Goliath appeared to the armies of Israel the Church would be aware of his presence because we know the story.
