I was fortunate enough to be born into a family rich in talent, and it is because of my environment that my own ability to be creative was nurtured into existence. As a child, I played piano. As a shy teenager, unable to vocally express my feelings, my father encouraged me to write those feelings down on paper. I did just that and had finally found a voice that I was comfortable with.
Although my shyness has receded, my love for writing has not. The Wonder of Being is a compilation of poetry I have written over the course of many decades. On these pages, I have voiced my thoughts and feelings about life’s experiences. Some are awe-inspired, some are sad, some are funny. But every word comes straight from my heart.
