Maxwell was born December 19, 1982, in Memphis, Tennessee. Raised in Arkansas, oldest of five, he attended West Memphis High School. Graduating, Maxwell joined the U. S. Navy. Completing numerous deployments, Maxwell reached the end of his obligated agreement and was honorably discharged in California and enrolled in San Diego Mesa College. There he embraced his love for writing. This book of poems is a product of that passion.
