Terry Ely is a successful entrepreneur operating his own firm in the commercial printing industry since 1982. In May of 2000, a multi-million dollar commercial screen-printing corporation recruited and hired him as General Manager. His business experience, outstanding leadership qualities and people skills have helped to solidify the company’s position in a highly technical and competitive market place. Having grown up in a family afflicted by the disease of alcoholism and after struggling personally with the disease, he has spent the last twelve years in recovery. His spiritual journey has included extensive research and study of comparative world religions, writing thought-evoking spiritual material, organizing and directing spiritual workshops, and facilitating retreats and recovery groups. Terry’s lay ministry is a commitment to helping other addicts and alcoholics find the spiritual experience that will spark recovery. “The purpose for my writing and other work,” he says, “is to reach out to those with both long and short term recovery, who struggle with spirituality, the existence of a Higher Power, and who, generally, have not found that shift in perception that will change their lives.” Terry Ely currently resides in Tampa, Florida, with his wife and two children.
