Tanner is a curious kitten born in the wild, but longs to be a domestic cat. As winter closes in, it is now Tanner's mothers task to teach him how to survive. Tanner struggles to accept the lessons that have been handed down through the generations. One night, a fierce winter storm hit hard, leaving everything in its path lifeless, including Tanner's mother.
