Paloma: The Lilly Fairy is about a fairy with a disability. Her wings are too small to allow her to fly. Paloma has difficulty fitting in. Paloma is befriended by another fairy who helps Paloma find ways to compensate for her disability. The book is geared toward middle school children. During middle school, it is hard to fit in even if you do not have a disability.
