A Story to Tell is just as it says. It is a story told from the memories of a young girl from a large family who, when she was just a little over 3 years old, lost her mother, and how a new “mom” came into her family's life.

At just 19, her new mom was hardly a grown woman but still took on 7 children. She somehow found time to work the fields and still make sure no one went hungry.

These memories of Mom and how she influenced a family and the life of a little girl (who at the time of this writing is now 79) are told in a story full of local history, the story of a family, and a story worth telling.
