I became interested in cryptozoology and in general, things that are anomalous in the natural world, in 1965 when I was a fifth grader and read in the school library a Boy's Life magazine article about the yeti. Since then I must have read scores of books on these subjects and watched as many documentaries about them. Admittedly, a lot of it is just plain silly, but again, a lot of it isn't.
