School Boy Heroes is a fantasy adventure set around two teenagers, Simon and Henry. Both boys are bullied at school and the weekends cannot come quick enough for them to escape their tormentors. One day while walking Simon's dog Barney, they accidentally discover a magical oak tree. The boys, to their surprise find three mystical characters hidden inside called Scorch, Rust and Firelight. This trio are trying to escape from a tyrant called Astre, who is terrorising them on their home planet Raeth. The boys agree to help the trio and are given magical objects to help them on their quest. So begins an adventure to the planet Raeth and their attempt to overthrow the evil ruler Astre. In return if the boys succeed the mystical trio will grant them skills to help them through their lives. When the boys return home they find time has stood still.
