This story is about a Newfoundland puppy named Frank, who grew very large and fast. The Newfoundland breed is known for rescuing people, in the ice cold waters of Newfoundland. Showing true to his breed, Frank, rescues a person drowning, in a nearby lake. Although, Frank was always getting in trouble at home, he became a hero, saving a man's life. This book shows children that even though animals and people are not perfect, they have good qualities, shown by the good deeds they do.
