Kat and her mom were on their way to their new home that would be the finest bed and breakfast in Virginia. Kat was happy because it was a new start. But as they pulled up to the house, it felt to Kat of a big sleeping monster. The house had two large windows that reminded Kat of empty eyes and a wrap around porch with some of the rails missing, looking like a mouth with jagged teeth. But little did Kat know of the secrets that their house hid and before the summer was over Kat would see and believe things she had never before.
