Two retired professors who are bored decide to indulge themselves in a scheme that they consider harmless. Their experiences in these activities take an unexpected turn which cause them to feel the need to flee the country with their pet dog and take up residence abroad. Their mishaps are caught by a reporter-photographer and make national news.
