Will Loudner was born in California in 1960, raised in New Mexico, and moved to Oklahoma as a young man in 1977. There he started a family and built a life and a business working with horses. After a difficult divorce in 2002, he found himself looking for new direction in his life. While traveling to Russia to meet a woman, he found interesting similarities between America in the 1930s and Russia today. Quite by accident he fell into a world that captured his imagination and then his heart as he found new friends in an old country. His observations of the people and the culture provided great insight into a life long forgotten. After traveling back as a teacher of English in Russia, he found that “stepping back in time is the perfect direction for an old cowboy.”
