Sixteen year-old Sara Bolton can not figure out why she is so depressed. She slouches in the basement and conjures her death by demolition in cinematic slow motion, but still, she continues to live. She goes to work at the dreaded summer daycamp. She reluctantly starts therapy sessions with a child psychiatrist who has lots of crayons but barely a chair to sit on. She knows that her mother has had breakdowns in the past, but getting information out of her is like shaving an ice block with a popsicle stick.
