Gabrielle works at a customer call center for BAM, where he spends his days on the phone under the supervision of the head manager, Mrs. Lisa Coal Stove, who is also his younger sister. His antics and his friendship with his co-worker, Sara, characterize Gabrielle’s approach to his work, and further perspective is added in scenes that portray his relationship with his wife, Cheryl, and their three children. When rumors drive a wedge between Gabrielle and Sara, it is Cheryl who offers him a creative resolution.
