The President, First Lady and Secretary of State went to Africa and were trapped in a rebellion. After the Secretary of State was murdered, Bert and Marjorie escaped in the attack submarine USS BILOXI with the help of two SEAL Teams. While they struggled to survive, being chased across the Atlantic Ocean by a Russian submarine, a power struggle occurred in the White House that involved the Secretary of Defense and several other ranking members. Very little scared President Bert Marklin, but the ordeal in Africa and the chase across the Atlantic Ocean, with Marjorie having to be sedated, did scare him!
