Product Description
Billy and Joey are a couple of young con men from the far south side of Chicago who are boyhood friends. Forced by the local police to relocate, they take to the road, reinventing themselves to become two religious visionaries who are traveling the back roads of America in order to raise money for the poor, war-stricken orphans of their "homeland," the eastern most portion of Western Bulgaria. Upon reaching their destination, San Francisco, Billy meets Tiffiny, a young Chinese artist, who introduces him to the spirit of bohemia which still lingers in the North Beach section of the city. Billy is faced with the dilemna of whether to pusue his love for Tiffiny and his poetic talents or renew his boyhood bonds with Joey and their life of petty crime.
