Annie found Mrs. Ward to be a little strange and completely understood why town locals referred to her as “Crazy Ward.” The old lady obviously had abandonment issues and proceeded to talk about how her deceased family remained in the house and lived in the walls. Then she met Billy, a young man who was also staying in the house. Billy seemed to be normal, “whatever normal is…” but his unnerving obsession with death and the unknown gradually took a toll on Annie’s mind. She soon found herself witnessing gruesome scenes of murder and carnage that were so vivid and distinct that she couldn’t tell if they were real or simply a dream. After having a dream of witnessing her own death, Annie soon begins to question her own existence and simply has to “come to terms with things…” or continue living in the walls in an endless dream.
