Vicky Harris is a single parent of three children. She was inspired to write this book during the roughest time in her life, as she was striving to make her mark in this world in spite of numerous trials and tribulations. Each day brought new challenges: her recovery from almost losing her oldest son during the Iraq War; the ups and downs of self-employment; the break-up with someone very dear in her life; and the lost connection with some of her dearest friends. However, being a soldier, she endured, and these were some of the words of inspirational wisdom that helped her through her daily struggles of being a mother, companion and friend. Her purpose for writing this book was for others to read and realize they’re not alone in their struggles.
