My book is an autobiography. Curiosity, intrigue and humor are created by the many short stories that make up the plot, which is coping with and overcoming a multitude of medical traumas, heart surgeries, a stroke and other challenges.
The text covers a period from 1934, just before Pearl Harbor and WWII, from my birth in Saranac Lake, New York. At that time doctors predicted that I would not live to become twenty-one. It was during the days of the Great Depression. To date I have survived many more life-threatening traumas. These experiences taught me a strong empathetic understanding about how others feel during their traumas. Love for writing and requests of relatives and friends motivated me to write this book. May you experience the mystique of the Adirondacks. I present my book to my readers. Hopefully they will gain this secret for success…Never give up and never quit!
