This is a book about spiritual growth that occurred while I walked across America. I met numerous people who demonstrated their kindness and love towards me. The walk allowed me an opportunity to learn to forgive myself and understand my shortcomings through my conversation with Anna, my shadow. Now I am celebrating life while teaching the children of SPAVA the values of perseverance and persistence. Anna taught me to listen and to change position depending on the circumstances, whether it be for atmospheric weather or weather of life. The walk gave me the time to reconcile in my mind all the pent-up feelings that shaped me. Now I know to honor everyone and express my gratitude freely.
