This is the journey of a father and son drawn close by death and illness, then ripped apart because of one’s refusal to be self-sustaining and the other’s failing love. This journey deals with the needs of an elderly parent and how a son was forced to deal with his father.

It is about love, understanding and being accepted. It was written during a confusing time with little or no support. These two are much alike in more ways than one, but self-pride and bitterness force them into opposite sides of life, leaving the two alone, wanting desperately to be back in each other’s life.
