The Life Crystal. A powerful artifact constructed during the Age of Magic, it has the power to control a race of people. Placed in the San-Tarien forest, home of the elves, after the Mage Wars, it has kept the mystical animals safe for hundreds of years. But now an evil necromancer has stolen the crystal and brought back a long-dead mage, Kroundous, to wreak havoc on the land by enslaving the dwarves and sending them to war. Three adventurers, Martell, the last Warrior of the Light, Kira, a warrioress, and Wardil the mage find themselves inadvertently inside the elven forest. While there, the King of the Elves sets them to the task of returning the crystal to its rightful place and saving the animals of the forest. With help from a commander of the human army, Kira’s half-brother, and the mighty lammasue, they make their way to the tomb of Kroundous to do battle and save the land.
