Most of what we see, or imagine, evokes emotion. We are creatures of feelings. Lucid Thoughts is of emotional experiences. Some real, some imagined. The writings are written from the heart, recalled from the soul, expressed in rhymed symphony, experienced in vivid images, pleading for response.

Herein lies fantasy, love, heartbreak, promise and hope, truth and denial… herein a candle that both lights the dark and flickers in shadow. Shall you find yourself within these pages? Will these verses be reminders, or regrets? As Burroughs wrote, in his work titled Waiting: “Serene I fold my hands and walk.”

This collection was written within the last several months, gratefully published for my supporters, my family, my friends, my associates and for all mankind who share this space and time, willingly or reluctantly, here on Earth.
