Product Description
Born in Luxembourg to French parents but raised in the United States by adopted parents, Nikki Carlyle has always been a creative person, whether writing songs or writing poetry. While working at CBS 5 in San Francisco, Nikki became assistant editor to the in-house newsletter. This experience led Nikki to begin her freelance career, when she wrote a piece about Barbara Rodger’s twenty-fifth anniversary celebration. The article appeared in City Flight Magazine, where Nikki has been a staff writer since. An interview Nikki conducted with Ms. Jennifer Beals appeared in the September issue of City Flight Magazine.
Nikki has been writing poetry since 1984 but really honed her skill after seeing Pink Floyd’s The Wall, which provided inspiration to continue writing poetry. Nikki now has four volumes of poetry.
She is also an accomplished musician with one independent Folk/Country CD titled Searching for the Garden of Eden. She is currently working on second CD, 4240 Hollis Street—its music will be New Age.
