Product Description
Angel was born on March 4, 1981, into a very large and widespread family. With three siblings and numerous cousins, it was easy to get lost in the shuffle. Angel often did. At the age of three she learned how to read, after which time she was rarely seen without a book in hand. Receiving books at every turn, it’s easy to see why at the age of six, writing became important for Angel. At the age of eight she was diagnosed with bi-polar disorder type II. Dealing with mood swings, being a social outcast, family neglect, weight issues, and a host of other problems in a small town can be grueling for any child. Growing up, for Angel, was a struggle. That is when poetry became the most important. At the age of 18 she felt it was time for a change. Angel then became Angelique Gardner. With this new name came a whole new outlook. Gone is the shy child; here stands the confident woman.
