Sensuous creatures from everywhere flock to Lisho, the party planet, where technology serves the ends of extravagant pleasure. Lisho's hallucinatory games and toys, its empires of illusion and dream, take forms so intense they often stretch the boundaries of sanity. One group of revelers enters a device called "the Timeslide" which zaps them so far into the future nothing makes sense anymore. In a misguided effort to return themselves to reality, the travelers zap through the Timeslide again and again--only to arrive at future after future, each more exponentially baffling than the last. As they spin into the ozone, the travelers' very identities blur, their personalities merge. It looks like they'll never be themselves again...
