Over the past five years, I have struggled with depression and have used my poetry to try and write down my thoughts in an effort to have a constructive release for it. Because of that, many of the poems in this book may be triggering to others going through the same struggles. At the same time, some may find some comfort or strength contained in these words and phrases from across the years. To all those who suffer and think that no one could possibly understand, remember, you are never alone.
