The poems that I have written were inspired by the Lord, love, and different life experiences. I have written poems from my childhood to the present. As many writers do, I write from the heart and not from the brain. I also, always, have the Lord in mind when writing my poems. My disabilities have dramatically impacted my poems. In many ways, my disabilities have taught me to be a stronger person. This can be seen in the poems that I write. It is not to say that disabilities are an advantage in writing poems. As I mentioned earlier, poems come from the heart. The soul of a good poem lays within the poet. For even more inspiration, I turn to my past, future, and my present. I, most importantly, turn to the Lord for inspiring thoughts. Inspirations are only the beginnings of good poems. I hope that I inspire.
