Audrey McDonald Carney lives in the town of Shepherdsville, Kentucky. She is a licensed professional counselor who earned her master’s degree in mental health counseling from Indiana University Southeast. Upon building her dream of having children, she encountered an emotional turmoil she never expected to experience. Over a seven-year period, from 1998-2004, she and her husband experienced a total of five pregnancies. Of the five, they experienced the loss of two babies by miscarriage, the loss of one by a tubal pregnancy, and through faith, they gave birth to two precious babies. This is a story of her personal experience while trying to conceive. It is the sharing of a story while trying to fulfill the dream of motherhood.
