The purpose of this book is to give the people of God the understanding to hear His voice and discern His will for themselves. I believe many of God’s people are led astray by folks claiming to have a word from God, for them. If God isn't a respecter of persons, then He can just as easily speak directly to you. There’s a powerful story in I KINGS 13 about this very thing, where a man of God was led astray by a so called prophet claiming to have a word from God, for him. The problem was, that word wasn’t from God at all and was totally contrary to the will of God. I've seen this time and again, where people are prophesying prevarication and causing the people of God to get completely out of the will of God. I believe in prophecy and know there's a place for it in the church today, but the thing about prophecy is, it is not baseball, you don't get to strike out every now and then. God said, "When a prophet prophesy in My name it will come to pass."

In this book I'll show you the truth about hearing God's voice so you can discern His will for yourself. This book will not address methods to recognize God's voice, but focus on your mindset so you can hear His voice!
