She was nominated for an Emmy on her weekly TV show, Real Heroes of Country Music, where she interviews entertainers like Charlie Pride, Kitty Wells, Marie Osmond and Freddy Fender and wrote international hit songs for Grand Ole Opry legend, Hank Lockin, recorded on RCA.

I was just five years old, when my dashing dad turned thirty, and goes crazy to preach. He had a Bible, a guitar and me to sing. Having no church, we performed on North Carolina city streets. A black preacher took us in for a while.

Mama had a fit when Dad decided to preach and travel. Selling our belongings he loaded up Mom, my five little, mischievous brothers and me and we hit the road. With loud speakers blasting atop our van, we invaded the Appalachian back woods to spread the gospel of Jesus. The Mountain People told us to shut up and go home! But Dad found some religious snake handlers and joined up to handle live rattlesnakes at his nightly meetings.

Hungry wild panthers arrived at our tent/home and rattlesnake gets loose in the tent. The boys fake a snake bite to pinch their Mom who drops the biscuits. But when her kid brother is bitten by a snake can Anna save him?

Anna works her way through broadcasting school and makes a career in broadcasting. A beautiful love story emerges between Anna and Eddie Joe.
