Sally Rock was a normal fifth grader from Berryville, Ohio, until her whole life changed the day her Uncle Denny, a famous paleontologist, had fantastic news to share: the discovery of a new dinosaur, related to the most average of farm animals: the chicken.

That summer she agrees to go with him to the mountains of Utah to the dig site of this famous dinosaur, only to find out the skeleton head has been stolen from the excavation. One night as they lay sleeping in their tents, a tremendous earthquake wakes them, and they are suddenly and violently transported to a world that many thought was gone forever. Sally knew this was going to be more than your regular slumber party summer adventure!
