8 Tears is an account of eight emotional events that have impacted my fatherhood and have become “8 tears of hope.” I hope that this book encourages all fathers to not give up when facing unforeseen circumstances. It is an abbreviated insight into my personal thoughts, fears, and doubts as a father when I was faced with frequent and devastating emotional challenges, and how I overcame them. It is only by the grace of God that I survived it all. The first chapter introduces the beginning of my fatherhood which was as a stepfather and the challenges I experienced, while the last chapter is a revelation and acceptance of God being the only perfect father. I read it and can tell you I wouldn’t believe that I survived it if I hadn’t experienced it myself.
