Product Description
This writing is not intended as an autobiography, rather the musings of a retired master sergeant who became affiliated with the Air Force more than half a century ago. Every time I pass through the gate of an Air Force base, I feel as though I am at home.
Although I have been retired from active duty more than thirty years, I keep abreast of military activities through newspapers and periodicals, as well as occasionally talking with other retirees, active duty, reserve, and veterans.
Since entering the Air Force in 1953, I have observed an unbelievable number of changes. By far, in my opinion, most are for the better. My personal observation is we have the strongest, sharpest, and best Air Force ever.
I hope through this brief, somewhat personal history that I can contribute something of interest. I trust my remembrances and observations will be accepted as positive and any negativity be viewed as constructive criticisms, because I dearly love and am proud to be a member of the greatest air force in the world.
