Sarah’s stylish looks and modern ambitions clash with the antiquated ways and ideals of the townspeople. She knows that her purpose is not to please them, but to achieve what the company sent her out there to accomplish. This was her first assignment away from the big city and her first opportunity to demonstrate to the company that she was capable of handling it alone. She refuses to let the townspeople intimidate her or try to run her off. The more they try, the more determined she is to continue. Unknown to Sarah would be the many barriers and stumbling blocks she would run into. She meets Pete who is handsome and somewhat old fashioned, but with an intriguing personality. Pete’s attraction to Sarah distracts her as she tries to bury her increasing affections for him. She awakens a sleepy town stuck in time. Soon secrets begin to unravel as Sarah’s presence there changes the town forever.
