"I started writing my book out my experiences of being a mother, and a wife. At the time that I started writing my book, I was very depressed and stressed out. I was living a lie, I was smiling a lot but in the inside I just was thinking about dying, my marriage was not a good one, but at the time I thought it was the best thing that happened to me. I was struggling trying to pay a mortgage and take care of my four children and help with my four step kids, it was just too much for me, and pay the rest of our bills. At the time my ex-husband had got laid off from his job, he was frustrated so he took it out on me, emotionally abusing me constantly. I wrote some of my poems about some of my friend's experiences also, about my ex cheating, and how my brother thought that a million dollars would save his life, but it only cost his life."
