When we lose sight of what it is that truly makes us happy in life, we cannot recognize what it is that will lead us to the salvation we seek. The universe gives us the tools we need to stay afloat as we need them. We are all drowning in a sea of apathy and adrift on this ocean of emotion. When we do not fight to stay afloat and see the sea for what it is, we tend to drown.
Drowning on the Sea is a journey through my deepest disheartening experiences within this apathetic existence that I have seen all around me, and in overcoming my own disdain and angst toward my fellow man. Through writing these poems is found a path that lead me to overcome the pain of my experiences with that all too elusive emotion...Love"
