Hania wakes up on Manhood Island to find a foretold-in-prophecy enemy, the Bloodstones, have returned and captured four of the six boys. Should he and his best friend Skelly hide or go for help? And if help is not available, should they go after them by themselves?

The boys are on a survival trip to prove they are ready to be men. They are to learn how to work together; instead, they have divided into the usual two groups, Hania and Skelly in one, the other four boys in the other.

After Bloodstone Slavers return, the six boys learn to rely on each other, trust in each other, and find out what real leadership is--the ability to see each other’s talents and get the best out of them, and most of all, developing the ability to listen to The Spirit and become the foretold Spirit Warriors.
