This is Christina’s second book, she also wrote Poems of Patriotic Pride. Christina’s inspirations for her poetry are the things she sees and feels around her. Some of the poems in this book are poems that she wrote back in junior high. Being from a big family, sometimes she could only express herself through her poetry. Christina loves to write poems for family and friends as gifts on special occasions and sometimes for no reason at all. She says that sometimes she could be having a dream and one will just come to her. In this book is a poem about Christina’s daughter; the words for it came to her as she rocked her daughter to sleep one night. She said that looking down at her precious angel lying in her arms, sleeping, is when she realized what a special gift God had blessed her husband and her with.
