"This wonderful book filled with poetry was a surprise to me, because at the time I became inspired to pick up a pencil and write, it began one way and ended up in another. A novel was being written in the cold days of winter in Akron, Ohio, but when the weather changed and spring began to appear, the spirit of the lord turned my writing in a different direction. I began to write poetry, the words seem to be pouring out of me as if I had been given a script, but it wasn’t so. It was the spirit of the Lord giving me the words to write this wonderful poetry book called Explosions of the Mind.
