Their dream was to raise their youngsters on a small family farm with lots of “character,” as Papa put it. Their desire was for the opportunity to teach their children how to live and love life through hard work and simple living, trusting the Lord for all they need. This is the story of a family’s journey on their way to that dream. Their days are filled with love and romance, laughter and unusual occurrences such as hatching snapping turtles, flying squirrels in the kitchen, “Ice Storm ’98” and annual picnics in the snow.
