Helen has written her poetry based on her life--growing up in Chicago with her seven siblings and raising three sons. The inspiration for each poem came from a significant experience of happiness or sorrow during her life. She has been able to express deep inner emotion. These poems have been written to bring out similar emotions from the reader.
