This is a novel told by piecing together sever journals, after Carey returns and flies into a blind rage and makes a bon fire out of her files, and journals as well as deleting her hard drive, destroying the screenplay, ""Ficus"" which actually is very similar to 'Lost', and stealing her car. No, the police didn't care at all, they told Carey to, ""Give her keys back and stop bothering her."" Wasn't it premeditated breaking and entering as well as robbery?
