"Steve, a college graduate, working in a dead end job, receives four volumes of old leather bound books from his uncle who died under mysterious circumstances. Thinking they are not of much value he puts them away on a shelf in his apartment. He soon starts having vivid dreams about a fairy princess in another world. Finally he is transported in his dreams to the Emerald Forest where he meets the Fairy Princess, Ninyah, and finds out the true value of the books. He discovers that his uncle has selected him to take his place alongside Ninya in a millennial struggle with a troll that is trying to take over the Emerald Forest. He finds great rewards, among which is the love of his life, as he battles the troll and his minions."
