Product Description
Michael J. Champlain was born in Cushing, Oklahoma, but as a young boy moved to Tahlequah, Oklahoma, in the northeastern part of the state where he grew up near the bluffs overlooking the Illinois River. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and just being able to enjoy the beauty of the nature that surrounded him. He had many trials going through life as a young man. As he noticed that others were going through some of the same trials as himself, he began to try to put them into words from a poet’s perspective. This book contains poems that range from addiction to recovery, and from love to loss and beyond.
