Brian was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, in 1978. Having grown up in a church-going family, there was no shock in finding out he was a conservative. However, what was a shock was the type of conservative he would eventually become. Since Brian also grew up in the ’80s and ’90s MTV culture, he has brought to life a new type of conservatism. His brand of conservatism mixes a little hard rock with old-fashioned values, having less emphasis on morals, and more on rational thought. In other words, common sense. While he aspires to live according to those moral principles of his faith, he believes that as a government, there is a logical path to follow. He calls it rational conservatism.
