In a small, eighteenth-century, seaport town, a young, newlywed baroness finds a pirate-stray that will change her life and it’s course. Falling in love with this man will set her life and her husband’s in a direction that will be fulfilling and heartbreaking. The love and kindness of both the pirate and baron will eventually be tested for her sake. Her son uncovers a lifetime of promises and secrets, as he takes over the baron’s merchant business and travels down to the Caribbean.
